Displaced single mother:
A single mother of
three (ages 14, 12, and 8) was recently informed
that she would have to move from the home where
she lived with her children. She is currently
unemployed and receives minimal unemployment
benefits. She has a paralegal degree and is open
to positions in and around her local area. A
rental home has been located for her but she
cannot move in until she can pay 1-2 months
rent. She has applied for Section 8 rental
assistance but the waiting list is long and may
take months to up to a year.
Her needs are
listed as follows:
Rent:
$425.00/month
Electricity: $200 deposit + $45 connect fee
Water: Pending $250 deposit
Gas (Propane): $298.00
Groceries: As needed for the initial move in
Donations of any
amount are needed. All donations will be used
first toward the first months rent, followed by
an as-needed basis (e.g. food, utilities, etc.).
Any overages will be applied to rent.

Main MIA/POW Page -you, too, can adopt a
MIA/POW solider. Help in the fight to see that
our government takes the necessary action in
bringing home those who fought for our rights,
freedom, and love for their country. God WILL
bless your efforts. |
